Thanks for your answer. I'm through that point. DB compile but the game still won't.

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
gmake: *** [Makefile:143: ../game_r40250] Error 1"
I wasn't able to fix it. However this lib is in its place

Update: still struggling. Been doing some work on my bsd, because that might cause the problem. But only a half step further. So if anyone has managed to start up the server, and willing to share the files (and the bsd) lmk

Trust me, i tried everything. In the end one of my friends sent me a vdi that was just compatible with the files and both game and db compiled without a problem.
So mark this topic as resolved please.
