I've put together a collection of free tools aimed at Metin2 server owners and developers. Everything runs directly in your browser — no uploads, no accounts, no data sent to my server. Close the tab or and it's gone.

I wanted something I could just open, paste data into, and get results. No installations, no Python scripts, no dependencies. Just an URL.

Metin2 Tools


Here's what's available in the Metin2 section so far:

Item Proto Editor
Spreadsheet-style editor for item_proto.txt. Smart dropdowns for types and subtypes, wear slot checkboxes, duplicate VNUM detection. Export to TXT or SQL when you're done.

Mob Proto Editor
Same idea but for mob_proto.txt. Around 50 columns per mob — type, rank, battle type, resistances, AI flags, immune flags. Search and filter by name or VNUM.

TXT ↔ SQL Converter
Paste your item_proto.txt or mob_proto.txt and get SQL INSERT statements out, or the other way around. Useful if you're switching between file-based and DB-based workflows.

Drop Table Calculator
Paste your mob_drop_item.txt groups and get the actual drop percentages out. Accounts for level difference penalties, boss flag, premium, double-item events and thief gloves. Formulas based on server source.

Mob Drop Editor
Unified editor for all 5 drop configuration files — mob_drop_item, common_drop_item, etc_drop_item, special_item_group, drop_item_group. Live probability preview built in.

Dungeon Quest Generator
Visual generator for dungeon quest Lua files. Pick your floor types (Metin Wave, Monster Wave, Boss Spawn, Item Delivery, Final Boss), configure entry rules, level range, ticket item — and it spits out a complete _zone.quest and Lib.lua. Live Lua preview with syntax highlighting.

MSM Extractor
Upload your .msm character files and search/extract HairData and ShapeData blocks. Search by filename, texture name, index or keyword. Upload all 8 character files at once. Download results per character or as a zip. All local, nothing leaves your machine.

Skill Damage Calculator
Calculate exact Metin2 skill damage for Warrior, Assassin, Sura, Shaman and Lycan. Enter your ATK, STR, DEX, INT stats and pick skill level (Lv1–17, M, G, P) to see real damage from skill_proto formulas — results update instantly for all skills at once.

Everything else

There's also a general tools section with 50+ utilities — JSON formatter, regex tester, hash generator, image compressor, Base64, JWT decoder, diff checker, QR code generator, CSS gradient generator, and a lot more. Useful for everyday dev work.

Waiting for feedback

This is still growing. If there's a tool you keep wishing existed — something you do manually or with a script that could just be a browser page — drop it below. I'd like to know what's actually useful to people, not just what I think is useful.

Also open to bug reports. If something doesn't parse correctly or a formula seems off, let me know.
