Hello Metin2 Community,

We’re currently working on an ambitious project – a new Metin2 private server focused on quality, long-term development, and innovative gameplay. Our goal is to create a server that not only stands out visually, but also delivers deep, balanced and immersive gameplay for both PvE and PvP players.

To bring this vision to life, we’re building a strong and passionate team. We are now actively searching for talented individuals for paid private commissions and long-term collaboration. We’re also open to feedback, suggestions or recommendations – if you know someone who’s great at what they do, feel free to share their name (or tag them here). Maybe you’re the perfect fit yourself?
Who We Are Looking For:
1. Graphic Designer

Full graphic design for the entire project: website layout, in-game client UI, patcher design, icons, promotional materials (banners, posts), logo, etc.

2. Infrastructure Developer

Responsible for setting up and maintaining the backend infrastructure of the Metin2 server.

CDN configuration, scalability, patch distribution, and performance optimization.

3. Python / C++ Developer

Tasks include optimizing the client, improving scripts, fixing database queries, and resolving critical bugs or performance issues.

4. Security Specialist

Development and implementation of an advanced protection system for both the game server and website.

5. Mapper

Creating original, lore-friendly maps with a focus on gameplay flow and performance.

6. 3D Artist

Designing new armor sets, weapons, pets, mounts, and other visual assets for the game.

7. Animation & Sound Specialist

Implementing custom animations and sound effects for 3D models and gameplay elements.

Supportive & Creative Roles:
8. Game Designer / Balancer

Balancing gameplay mechanics, drop rates, PvE/PvP balance, and item shop monetization strategies.

9. Community Manager

Organizing the administrative/moderation team and managing Discord/social channels.

10. Quest Designer / Lore Scripter

Creating storylines, quest chains, and custom game content.

11. Content Writer / Copywriter

Writing promotional texts, in-game lore, announcements, and web/forum content.

Project Coordinator (responsible for organizing server tasks and internal management)

First of all, thank you for the overwhelming interest - over 300 people contacted us, and we have already selected several team members from among you!


Many people also asked "When will the server launch?"
The answer is the server is scheduled to launch in 2026.

It will be a Metin2 Middleschool server; meaning a classic Metin2 experience, not a completely new game.
We aim to build a server that is not purely Pay2Win, but rather something long-lasting and truly enjoyable for the players.

If you’re wondering why we started recruiting the team almost a year before launch - it’s simple: we want to do this properly.
Building a serious project cannot be achieved with just 2-3 people. We're assembling a strong and prepared team from the start!
