Hello everyone, I am proud to finally present to you version 3.0 of Edea. As some of you already know, we have been working on this project for 5 years, and the time has finally come to give the community a Fun PvP with an Italian staff and base — long-lasting, balanced, and competitive.
The project itself is constantly evolving: there are still many things to fix and just as many new features to implement, but today I can confidently say it is ready.
The official opening date of the server is set for Wednesday, 17/09.

Enough talk, let’s move on with the presentation — I’ll leave you with a short list of main features, followed by the full presentation.

Main Information:

The core concept of Edea is to jump in and duel immediately on equal terms with everyone. For this reason, you will receive full equipment at the start, as well as skills and everything you need.
From there, you can dive into the competitive world of duels, arenas, tournaments, and guild wars, or farm for PvM skins, dungeons, or metins.

Everything is supported by an innovative trade system with a single currency: Edea Coins.
Of course, the competitive side has been carefully designed, with exclusive rankings and rewards.

BASICS


Start

You start with PvP equipment, potions, and a teleport ring at level 99.

Select Skills and Add Stats

At the bottom left, once you create the character you can select skills and distribute stats.

Teleport Ring and Maps


- The Village is Edea’s unique village
- Sohan and Desert are currently the two maps dedicated to duels (NO free and same kingdom)
- The Bazaar is where you can set up your shops
- The Metin Map is where you farm chests (see below)

Shop Search, Event Calendar, and Switchbot

With shop search you can view all items and available stalls and filter them.
The event calendar will show the full Edea event schedule, constantly updated (todo).
Switchbot can save presets and uses 400 bonus changers per roll.

Battlepass and Rewards


More info coming soon — for now, at the first Nemere kill you’ll receive a PvP chest (Edea Coins).

Options



You can edit the environment and block many visual functions such as effects, as well as change POV and camera distance.

NPC


Skill to P and Reset Skills


Here you can make your skills P and reset them if you want to change class.

PvM and Transmog


Here you’ll find the basic PvM set made of lv 75 weapons (average and skill) and the transmogrifier that allows you to turn a piece of equipment into a permanent costume.

Happy Ending


The good old shopkeeper containing every utility and piece of equipment.

The Converter


Here you can convert Metin chests into bags containing Edea Coins. Any 100 Metin chests will be converted into a medium bag with Edea Coins.

Karma


Here you can assign yourself positive or negative karma.

PvM


Dungeons


Currently there are 3 active dungeons. They are very fast, include their own ranking, and you can purchase reset CDs directly from the interface shop.
Rewards: see below.

Metin Map


In the Metin Map you can farm chests directly from Metins, and each destroyed Metin gives you 1 Edea Coin. See rewards below.

Dungeon Chests and Rewards

Each chest contains a PvM equipment piece with PvM bonuses and is time-limited (2 days). Other costumes found are bonus-free and permanent.

Enchanted Forest → Cloak Skins
Azrael → Weapon Skins
Nemere → Pet and Mount Skins

Metin Chests and Rewards


Costume and hairstyle skins drop from Metins; one of them includes PvM bonuses.

PvP

Brawl


The map dedicated to brawl is also Edea’s iconic and exclusive map: The Edea Village.
This map was created by me in 2019 specifically for Edea. It’s a unique village map with the three kingdoms arranged on three peninsulas converging into a central peninsula where players can fight.
Of course, a kingdom war event will soon be implemented.

Duels


Duels work as follows:
There are general flags, visible on the right, such as “no potions” or “no poison, pierce, crits.” These are general checks applicable to both Edea and Tactical modes.

- In Edea mode, all these flags apply, and it’s the standard duel mode for fighting different races and classes. If you want to remove the “luck” element, simply enable the “no psn” flag to remove poison and crits.
- In Tactical mode, base damage is fixed — whether naked or equipped doesn’t matter, as HP and stats are assigned automatically. This mode is used for fighting the same race.

By default, use Edea duels for fighting everyone, and Tactical for more technical matchups like warrior vs warrior.
For both modes, I always recommend keeping “no mount” and “no potions” flags active.

Guild Wars



Guild wars are super fun and engaging in Edea. You can set both member limit (1+) and point limit (1+).
During wars, pressing TAB lets you see real-time damage and kills of each participant.
Reward logic: at 10 kills you get a small Edea Coins bag, 20 kills a medium bag, 30 kills a large bag. All bags contain Edea Coins.

Edea PvP Tournament


A tournament organized first by staff and then automated. It’s an Edea-style duel tournament with 8 rings and 8 simultaneous fights, with exclusive prizes.

THE EDEA ARENA - EXCLUSIVE




This is our highlight — EXTREMELY competitive, an arena with matchmaking logic. Once you register through the NPC, you’ll be queued with players who chose the same conditions and matched.
Once matched, the fight begins in the arena. First to reach 3 wins earns 3 points and a bag of Edea Coins.

Arena modes:
- Edea style: the generic one, standard Edea duel between different races. Includes Ranked (with leaderboard points) and Skirmish (friendly, without points but with rewards).
- Tactical mode: interesting because it uses Tactical duels with fixed damage, and you’ll only be matched against the same race.

A separate ranking for all 4 races will be added (todo).
The whole system is tied to a ranked ladder from Bronze to Diamond.

Ranking


By pressing F12 in-game or on the website, you can view rankings of Edea’s competitive modes — Arena, duels, guild war kills, and more.
Rankings will reset periodically (schedule to be decided), and players will be rewarded (arena).
Ranked arena mode is simple for now, but soon a ranked system like other famous games will be implemented, ranging from Bronze to Diamond.

PvP Shop and Reward System



As for PvP (and Edea in general), there is a single currency: Edea Coins.
This is Edea’s currency, obtainable from guild war bags, by winning arena matches, betting in duels, or trading with other players.
It can also be obtained in staff-organized tournaments and will be the only in-game currency besides DC.

Bag sizes:
- Metin Bag: 1 Coin
- Small Bag: 500 Coins
- Medium Bag: 1000 Coins
- Big Bag: 2000 Coins

For reference:
- OG costume → ~500 Coins
- Arena costume → ~35,000 Coins

Skins purchased with DC (donation currency) will have no bonuses and will rotate continuously, following modern game models. This ensures rarity for certain skins compared to others.

PURE AESTHETICS


Weapon Effects


The effects system shown in the gif lets you stack up to 3 weapon effects and 2 armor effects to create all kinds of combinations.

Armor Effects


You can add up to two to create incredible combinations.
Soon I’ll also implement a “wings” effect that lets you have wings made purely of aura.

Costumes





There are truly tons of costumes. The main preference is for anime, but you’ll also find all the classics, the latest from famous designers, and many more. I also enjoy creating my own retextures and effects.
I will update this section as time allows.

Title System


You can set a custom title on your character, with the length and color you prefer.

There are still things missing, but I think this is a solid overview. For more information as usual, ask on Discord or wherever you like.

Edea Fun PvP – Patchnotes Update

Patchnotes 1.2
Questo è un netto miglioramento per il PVP.
Come molti di voi hanno notato, a volte — con alcune classi più di altre — si notava del desync e le hitbox sembravano un po’ “sballate”.

Con questo aggiornamento torniamo al PVP fluido che ci ha sempre contraddistinto.
Speriamo possiate godere di un’esperienza ancora più divertente e ricordatevi che per qualsiasi problema siamo qui: i vostri feedback ci aiutano a crescere ogni giorno.

Patchnotes 1.3
Aggiornamento bilanciamento classi:
- Aggiunto Fuoco Duraturo allo Shamy Drago → 30% di riuscita, danno variabile.
- Ridefiniti i cooldown delle skill dello Shamy Cura.
- Ridotto sensibilmente il range di danno dello Spadone per rendere i valori meno casuali.
- Leggero rework a Lama del Sura AM.
- Aumentato leggermente Spirito della Fiamma sul Sura Nero.

Fateci sapere come vi trovate: in caso interverremo con altre modifiche.

- Durata set PVM modificata da 2 giorni a 4 giorni.
- Il set non scadrà più se non indossato, diventando quindi permanente se tenuto in inventario.
- Le capigliature non daranno più resistenza contro mostri ma forte contro mostri.

Patchnotes 1.6
- Inserita modalità duello German Style: identica al Tattico ma con più HP (150k), per chi preferisce duelli più lunghi e divertenti. (Patchata o non funzionerà!)
- Rivisto l’intero PvP sulla base dei test effettuati negli ultimi giorni.
- Tutte le classi sono state riviste. A breve pubblicheremo uno schema con i valori indicativi di danno atteso per ogni razza con equip corretto.
- Risolti piccoli bug dell’arena ranked.
- Aumentati gli HP a 54.000.
- Inserita modalità duello German Style.

Patch 2.0
Grazie ai feedback ricevuti, il progetto ha preso una direzione molto diversa da quella iniziale.

Duelli
- Rework modalità: Edea Style e Tactic/German Style.
- Edea Style: danni delle skill “lisci”, bilanciamento basato su critici/perforanti/hp/rigenerazione/veleno.
- Tactic/German Style: stessi meccanismi precedenti, con HP a 150k (valore regolabile).

Rissa e War
- Danni dell’Arciere Ninja variano in base alla distanza.
- Rivisti completamente i danni di molte classi.
- Fixati gli Stivali di Pelle.
- Aumentata velocità di movimento sulle corazze del 20% (cap raggiunto).
- Fixata la skill Curare dello Shamy: ora guarisce anche gli alleati.

- Aggiunte Cinture Tank e DPS:
• Tank: +15% resistenza razziale, +5000 HP (in testing).
• DPS: +15% forte contro Umani, +30% danno colpo, +5% critico (in testing).
- Inserita Pietra 25% vs tutte le razze, rimosse le pietre singole.
- Aumentata del 20% la probabilità di critico e perforante.
- Pozioni disabilitate automaticamente all’inizio dei duelli.
- Valori delle cinture disabilitati automaticamente nei duelli.
- Sistemati i danni di buff e debuff nei duelli.
- Aggiunti oggetti gratuiti dal NPC Happy Ending.
- Fixati gli Stivali di Pelle.
- Aumentata rigenerazione HP da pozioni.

Patchnotes 3.0 – Aesthetic

Hello everyone, in today’s patch we have implemented MANY new skins:

• New chest dropped by Metins: Shining Chest, inside you will find weapon and armor effects!!
• Brand new costumes in the arena shop and the item shop
• New wings and sashes in the item shop
• New drops from Boss chests, added MANY weapon, armor and hairstyle costumes
• Added lots of wings and sashes in the Boss chest that gives sashes (Jotun)
• Added two new NPCs in the main square: Event PVP (to join arenas and PvP tournaments)
• NPC Uriel, for OX events and other activities
