Internal Client Registration System — AUTH, Image CAPTCHA, IPv4/IPv6 and DPAPI

Create Metin2 accounts securely and directly from the login screen.

I am selling my own Internal Client Registration System for Metin2.
This is an original implementation developed for my project and is not a resell.

The system adds a complete registration panel directly to the client login screen. Players do not need to open a website, and no MySQL credentials are stored in the client, This also helps prevent copyright issues—such as those seen in some countries where Metin2 servers are being shut down—by facilitating an internal registration system that allows for the launch of other viable servers, operating in parallel with Discord servers for communication and related activities.

Main features:

• Registration button integrated below the Login button.
• Compact, vertical and movable registration window.
• Validated for both 800x600 and Full HD resolutions.
• Login, password, password confirmation, Social ID, e-mail and security code fields.
• Complete TAB and ENTER navigation inside the form.
• Individual help buttons with security recommendations for every field.
• TOP_MOST help tooltips that remain inside the screen.
• Centered and automatically wrapped validation messages.
• Mathematical image CAPTCHA generated by the server.
• The CAPTCHA expression is rasterized into a 64x9 bitmap.
• The CAPTCHA answer is never sent to Python or stored in the client.
• Live expiration countdown displayed inside the CAPTCHA panel.
• One-time CAPTCHA challenges with a default lifetime of 120 seconds.
• Server-side validation for every registration field.
• Per-IP protection against automated registration and request flooding.
• Duplicate login and duplicate e-mail detection.
• IPv4 and IPv6 registration address captured from the AUTH connection.
• The client cannot forge the stored registration IP.
• Account language is automatically selected from the active client locale.
• English and Portuguese (Portugal) interface translations included.
• Optional automatic Save Account integration after successful registration.
• Optional Windows DPAPI protection for saved passwords.
• Saved login remains visible while the password is stored as protected data.

Security architecture:

The client never connects directly to MySQL and contains no database username, password, host or port.

AUTH -> validates CAPTCHA and fields -> creates the account

All important checks are performed by the server. Editing or bypassing the Python interface does not bypass server-side validation.

Anti-spam protection included:

• Minimum delay between CAPTCHA requests.
• Maximum registration submissions per IP and time window.
• Maximum successfully created accounts per IP and hour.
• CAPTCHA consumed on the first submission.
• Expired or reused challenges are rejected.

Compatibility:

The included patches were validated against the Trinity v200 reference base.

For another source, the package includes a detailed English porting guide explaining every integration point. The buyer must have access to both client and server sources.

This is not a Python-only system. Client source, server AUTH/game source, unpacked root/locale and database access are required for a complete installation.

What is not included:

• E-mail confirmation or account recovery.
• Web registration panel.
• TLS termination.
• Translations other than English and Portuguese.
• Unlimited custom porting to unrelated sources.

Important security note:

The image CAPTCHA and rate limits significantly increase the cost of automated registration, but no CAPTCHA should be advertised as impossible to solve with specialized OCR.

• The buyer is responsible for the privacy policy and retention of stored registration IP addresses.
• No files or installation service are delivered before confirmed payment or intermediary confirmation.
