Its not main bottleneck in metin2 - main bottleneck in metin2 is that game calculates all "render" things on CPU - moving all calculations to shaders will be more effective and even require less code so thats definition of using ai today - "CHATGPT OPTIMALIZE ME GAME PLZ" and it does that shit as we have here

What i was selling is just batching in most of the part and culling, exactly to avoid using gpu skinning, wich anyways on DX9 is exactly shit, cause dx9 is 20y old and most servers will not use. And yes, in the case of keeping the client basic, running on CPU, the main bottleneck is drawcalling, and doing thousands of drawcalls for nothing.
