here is my Metin2-Collision Helper plugin for 3DS Max.
The published import script from ricky92 has some bugs, therefore I had written my own. That wasn't a problem, because I had discovered the structure of the MDATR file since some months. My script was written completly by me.
Features:
- Import(*)
- Export(*)
- Collision objects lightly transparent
- Collision objects without backface culling
- Easy to use interface
*full support of the MDATR structure
Usage:
- Use the attached file in 3DS Max about MAXSCRIPT>Run script...
- Click "Import collision" to load MDATR file or "Export collision" to save.
- Collision meshes must be labeled with "collsion**" tag in meshh name and the height with "height**" tag.
- (MDATR file uses two types of collision, the collision meshh like plane, sphere or cylinder shape and the height plane that represents the ground like the terrain ground)
